The head of the South African Medical Association told the BBC that the cases found so far in South Africa - where only about 24% of the population is fully vaccinated - were not severe, but said investigations into the variant were still at a very early stage.
"The patients are mostly complaining about a sore body and tiredness, extreme tiredness and we see it in the younger generation, it's not the older people... We're not talking about patients that might go straight to a hospital and be admitted," Dr Angelique Coetzee said.
US infectious disease chief Dr Anthony Fauci said that while the reports on the new variant threw up a "red flag", it was possible that vaccines might still work to prevent serious illness.
So I wouldn’t say it’s underrated, but I can’t say that for future.
So one could make a rough estimate about how many new PTON hardware has been sold based on the number of times their app has been downloaded.
Plug in the ongoing chip shortage impacting all the big tech, PTON would have been no different.
Why the downloads were less? Because outdoor activities were all opening up, hence gyms were opening up. In addition to competition from Apple fitness all were working against them.
Disclaimer: I wasn’t 100% confident that they would drop, I would have YOLO’d. But there were increased odds against them.
Pinterest: is not actual product or either a social media. Only few designers use it for ideas. That's it. But they generally buy stock images or design software from somewhere else.
Zoom: Stagnant growth or declining revenue. Already overpriced.
Redfin: Not sure
PLTR: Not Sure.
PINS shouldn’t exist anymore.
ZM - It’s not going away, no one bigger than Zoom and with Metaverse now, I don’t see online communication dying .
Regarding peloton people tend to unsubscribe once they take it for few months and do the workout on their own. All they needed was equipment. Similar to what happens with gym membership - all you need is equipment and you won't need trainer for long. Either you're consistent workout geek who doesn't need trainer anymore or you're lazy person who quits gym from 2nd month.
