Change companies or not?
So, I am currently working as an SDE at Nordstrom and I'll go through a change of status F1 to H1B in October. I have an offer from Amazon (SDE 1) which I want to accept. However, I'll be going home (India) in December and will need to get my Visa stamped. I have heard that 221g - admin processing is common. Will Amazon wait if I get a 221g? What's the possibility of getting fired? (Wondering because of the PIP culture).

I just received a 221g admin processing . There won’t be any pip , that is baseless. But you may have to go on unpaid leave
