Change my mind: Mandatory return to office won't be until July 2022

Thesis (not original, also mentioned by others on various Blind threads): US won't reach 80% immunity via vaccination or infections by July 2021. If the return to office gets pushed to beyond Sept 2021, parents with kids in schools and other scenarios will rebel.. can't move homes and shift schools etc middle of the year. With tech productivity not being far from usual, management wont mind extending WFH until the end of the school year. We'll be asked to return after July 2022.
Beyond Q3 2021, performance of fully remote companies may also weigh in a factor (Twitter, Square)

We don’t know anything what they’re planning to do.
If your in a low cost of living area now and would be relocating when office opens - dm me got a small tip for you.
You do NOT need 80% immunity for mandatory return to office.
Mandatory work from office is already starting in 2021, and for some companies started in 2020.

2. "wait and watch" isn't the right answer. Those who haven't moved yet want to know if there's still a door of opportunity. Those who have moved don't want to come back in August and fight for high-priced Bay Area rentals, they'd rather plan ahead. Those with kids probably want to know their school plan beyond this May is.
