One of my favorite perks at Microsoft is that they donate $25/hour for time employees spend volunteering, and match all donations (dollar for dollar) to non religious nonprofits. What benefits do other companies provide for employee-nonprofit relations?
A product manager friend of mine (non-tech company) recently negotiated a job offer where one of the terms is he would be allowed to take a month off this fall to campaign during election season.
I don't know if this was a structured benefit or just one-off, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Apple also donates up to$25/hour for volunteer time and will match cash donations to non-profits up to $15,000 per year.
Sorry, I made a mistake (or the policy changed recently). We get up to $10,000 matched.
Still a wonderful program.
