Applying for a Data Analyst role in North Carolina...Anyone here from Charter that can let me know what the interview process is like? Would you recommend Charter or should I just look elsewhere? What's comp like? Also, is Spectrum just another name for Charter?
Depends on which side you'll be on, Res/SMB is definitely old cable for sure. Enterprise is doing some newer stuff that's.....well I won't call it exciting but is it least late oughts. I transferred here from Austin, in my early 20s I worked for Google and Dell. Moving into my late 20s now I wanted something with a better WLB. Now I can come in at 10 and leave at 3, pay isnt bad and the 401 match, plus pension isn't too bad. As for your question for interview mine was phone interview, Skype interview, panel interview. But the last one was just a formality.
Spectrum is the cable TV + OTT product name for charter. It's all the same.

If you have no other options welcome. If you have other options I'd love a referral when you get hired.
Lol. Yes help us all. Collect those sweet employee referrals at your next place. Probably higher TC than charter
Yeah. They're dinosaurs and their management wants you to scratch their back. I was given high marks in a peer interview and shit down by a director because I had to make a choice between going there and taking a severance or staying for an internal offer I got. Peers seem cool but management has some jerks.
I have not heard great things about Charter. Spectrum is old Brighthouse.

Look elsewhere. Charter is truly "old cable" in every sense.
