Microsoft won’t give a VP title (unless you “really” are a VP). At a bank every other person is a VP. Btw if you are a bank “VP” SWE I’d recommend leaving it out of your resume and LinkedIn unless you’re only interested in other banks or legacy financial firms. Just call yourself a SWE.

Microsoft has best benefits out there. Pay 100% premiums and stock is on the up. Annual bonus are very fair. Perks are better than Chase. Culture is better as well. Time off very fair. Overall if you do the math you will get 15% on average higher total comp at MSFT because these costs would be taken out of your paycheck elsewhere. TC $360k YoE 15 @ msft
Jersey city is a dump and dreary. Seattle is getting warmer and very green and mountainous. Better food and quality of life.
