The road to profitably is getting rid of the drivers all together.
Feel free to lend a hand with that tasty ad revenue then
Before opening up mouth, go and check how many billions $ G made in *non-ad* last year. You poor guy then compare the entire U’s rev figure. And even at some point U meets that non-ad revenue, wait just for few more years until cheap Uber can meet that profit margin! Huh!
lulz
We have smart folks over on Strategic Finance..... I trust them.... [end sarcasm]
Some drivers claim they make upwards of $2k per week some say they make pennies.
Please do NOT participate in a discussion with “some/any/few” to refute an argument. It doesn’t matter if say, for instance 1% top drivers make $10k per month, but speak what the p75, p50 and p25 makes for a better representation of their earnings.
The top 1% of realtors make most of the sales while the 99% pick up the left over, most of whom will quit while some stay that may become a 1% one day. I don’t see realtors going on strike. Why is this different for Uber drivers? Also OP good job participating in a discussion with your own single anecdote to support an argument.
Damn, really sad stuff.
Real classy
Strikes by rideshare drivers sound...ineffective. If a subset of drivers strike, it will just cause a temporary price surge and cause more drivers to come online. Uber is designed to be resilient to changes in driver supply.
Good point lol
