China folks: any idea how bad is Corona virus?
Any estimates of how many people died? Or any stories of the magnitude from back home?
I heard it's official number times 10 is pretty much right from my chinese friends in Wuhan
And we all know because they're Chinese then they can credibly assess such complex situation, purely based on th only qualification of being Chinese.

Can't trust Chinese government, can we have democracy there ???
Government here never lies, and they told us they will do nothing.
CDC only tested 400+ cases and refused to test more, and they even made mistakes in that 400+ cases. Nobody knows how many cases there are in US.

Some study says this can spread with upto 70 percentage of world population. I still remember during initial days I was forwarding jokes on cronovirus and now I am worried.
Likely will die off when summer come like SARS. It doesn’t spread much in hot climates like Singapore.
But will it come back in the fall?

Bad. Like BAD. The epi center is already locked down. No one gets in or out of the city of Wuhan unless you get really creative. For most people - No school (online learning only, including universities). No going to work (wfh or not at all depending on your company, unless it’s related to fighting the virus). Very limited public transport (buses, railway travel, flights). You can find flights for ~10 USD because nobody wants to travel. Checkpoints at city and county borders to take your temperature. If you don’t reside in a certain city, they simply won’t let you in. Similar is true for communities/counties. There’s ration for masks etc. You can’t really find any yourself.
