May be kind of random, but I have known a few chiropractors both personally and professionally, and IMO they are kind of glorified masseuses that talk out of their butt, try to sell you stuff you don't need, try to fix you, might end up hurting you bc they don't know what they are doing, and overall should be avoided in favor of a real health professional. Am I wrong here, is my anecdotal evidence not indicative of most chiropractors?
I feel they are real quacks. Thanks to the stupidity of people they will believe everything coming from these scammers. "Your spinal cord is degenerating" "Your shoulder is going to die in 6 months* "Your arms won't work anymore, urgent adjustment required". My ass
I voted for all three options. They offer a useful service for cracking your back when you can’t get to it yourself. It does help for some types of back pain, but just correcting your posture works just as well. Almost all of them will try to up-sell you and/or go on about how they can treat other conditions. That’s a scam.
Useful for adjustments. Useful for recovering from back injuries. Like medical doctors you also have some useless quacks. I’ve seen about 6 chiropractors in my life. Most of them have been very useful.
Can you please suggest me some ? I am Looking around San Jose area?
I’ve had some great chiropractors, and had a couple I never went to after the first visit. Resisting upsells is a skill you should be honing anyhow. But man I had this gorgeous 5’ 4” chrio who could fold me in half and make me feel like a beautiful origami swan after. some are legit..

If you have real spinal trauma, do not think chiro is a cheaper alternative. Realignment if you feel out of wack - maybe, disc trauma or nerve damage - hell no
