So. I applied to a handful of jobs at Cisco, and even when someone referred me to a job, I got auto reject. The auto reject message says the rejection is based on a questionnaire I had submitted earlier. Now idk how long back that was or what the question was. But HOOOOWWWWW do I get anyone at Cisco to correct that? So many wonderful jobs there, please help!
What team(s) are you trying to apply for?
If you can't even pass the filtering process, maybe the problem is you, not Cisco. Even if someone corrects whatever you are asking for, you will probably fail the questions again. The jobs might be wonderful, but maybe you just don't fit.
Yeah point. But I've interviewed with G, MS, FB with that resume so I don't think I'm that bad :p
And this is for an entry level position btw. My skills are a good fit, I'm fairly positive. :(
Just apply with a different email address, but if all the other info is the same they might auto merge your records
Yeah. That'll harm my chances more if there's any sort of flagging or identification
Same experience with them, I justified it by assuming that they were job posting for labor certification.. but either way consider yourself lucky for avoiding Cisco.
Not the first time I'm getting this lol, thanks
VqoH04 is correct on both counts.
Did you select need sponsorships for visa in future by any chance? I know they have hard filters on those and it’s auto rejected in exactly 24 hrs of application! Try the recruiter - they will not care too. Best bet is the hiring manager if he likes the resume you can get yourself in !! All the best
I joined Cisco 2 years ago and my experience has been great. I’d recommend using different email address and make sure your experience aligns to Cisco role.
Reach out to the recruiter directly.
It because you have selected that you need sponsorship, unselect that item and later talk with recruiter
That's what it was! How unfortunate! But wouldn't it be like lying though? Do they consider for sponsorship later on?
You do know you can have more than one email address right?
Hehehehe yess. I have a school and my personal. I don't want to have too many profiles with same Resumes and names either 😂 but if I don't have any other options/emails to contact Cisco recruiting then that's what I'll have to do
What teams are you applying for?
