I received an offer recently for a Senior SWE long-term contract role at Cisco. Everything thus far had been very good, but today the recruiter reached out to me and told me that the CEO had (today) put some type of freeze or restrictions in place and that they may need to push the start date out two weeks. Seems very fishy. I was led on similarly by another company and they ended up cancelling the role outright. Anyone know what's happening with consultants at Cisco? #Cisco #offer #software #engineering #swe
