Wondering about the culture at Cisco. Was surprised to see such great ratings on Glassdoor. What is it like day to day? Do they have the perks like food and events etc?
It's not bad in the alpha project I'm in. Free snacks, fruit, etc.
Ok so it’s not a dungeon good to know 😂
Constantly worrying about layoffs and if you will be on the next LR list. Pay cuts to base salaries, lack of raises or cost of living increases very often, poor or no RSU grants and refreshers, and no the offices are not amazing. In todays market I would look elsewhere to be honest.
I agree, unless u r one pay check away from losing ur home or your last meal, avoid Cisco.
Mid/older tenure employees seem to absolutely hate the culture.. but the recent hires seem to be doing okay for now
Curious. The people who commented on not liking the culture where are you at in your careers? Sometimes there is some context needed
No matter what context you take, cisco is shit hole..I have many friends who joined and left within 1 or 2 years. Cisco is where lifers are working and slowly eating away the company bit by bit.
Thanks for the input. Very helpful. What offices are talking about? Or does it even matter office to office, product to product?
That’s because I like to have data. Right now there is conflicting data. Glassdoor has very high reviews. Don’t be rude
I like here (Cisco). But the promo is slow. You need to jump between these network companies. TC 250K G10.
Wow I’m also g10 but not 250.. mind sharing your breakdown?
The culture is Indian.

Cisco is old age home. So you can guess the culture.
Are the offices at least nice
