Anyone have insight into what would a strong offer be from citi for a c15 in a non-revenue producing department? What %/amount bonus can you really expect at the director level? I’ve seen people post the Citi salary bands table - looks like $260k base is max in nyc. But what does total comp tend to look like? Bonuses are like, 30k or 100k? Huge difference on total comp. Also, how much are people really back in the office? I can’t do 3 days a week. Current tc: 240 Yoe: 12
They don’t give any equity?
They do if your bonus amount I believe is above $99,000. If it’s below then it’s all cash, if it’s above then it’s a certain percentage in cash and a percentage in equity.
@OP did you get an offer ? What were your numbers ?
@op any Indicators on what your offer was like ?
250 base, 65 sign on. And they’ll pay out my long term equity, on the same vesting schedule. Annual bonus tbd but I’m told 80k and up
@OP When you say long term equity are they also giving RSUs? Everything else in your offer is good for c15 level. Your 65k sign on will most likely be paid out in Feb I believe with the yearly bonus being paid out Feb of next year.
That seems very good for an ops role with business?
Congrats! That’s a decent offer for c15. 1) Are they going to mention bonus% in your offer? 2) What was the dollar amount of your equity?
@OP — which group / business line are you in ?
I’m interviewing for a non revenue c15- was told 220 base would be the max limit in NY. Seems low based on above now

Why is Bay Area terribly dressed?
Non-Revenue role, I would say a solid offer would be a base of $200k-$225k. Bonuses for operations and tech are shitty. Think 10%-15% of your base and that would be your potential TC. When I worked there (just left), we were going in 2 days a week.
10-15%? Yikes That’s lower than I expected. Thanks for the insight!
No problem. If it was a revenue producing role or capital markets, the bonus could be up to 100% of your base.
