Hi guys, I got 3 phone interviews with CITI and after that no news from them for a week. Is this bad news? What is the hiring process like in CITI, like how many interviews and when will they let you know if they will offer you the job or not?
Took me 6 months from offer to on boarding. Damn slow...
omg 6 months is crazy, what area and group did you apply for?
OT Florida
Usually 1 coding + 2 technical discussion + 1 hiring manager round + 1 independent assessment
what is independent assessment?
Independent assessment is done to check whether candidate fits into Citi's culture and doesn't have any attitude problem.
Applied September, one phone call in October, then invited to interview in December. Got offer letter exactly 7 days later
did recruiter negotiate salary or just give offer right away?
Gave offer right away. Gave me 24 hours to decide
They had a timeline set for me. Was about 3 weeks from when I signed the offer letter. Basically enough time to get settled in a new city
sounds very rigid! I thought normally they will ask when you can start and give verbal offer first, for experienced positions
I think a delayed response time after phone interviews can be common (unfortunately) and also depends on department. I suppose it could take a couple weeks on average. Faster response time should be expected after final round / in person interviews
Which area and location? Prime areas not having a freeze are digital, compliance, front office
Would not be concerned until you’re at least 2 weeks out from your last phone call. The only time I heard back immediately, was after my super day
Yeah I’m not sure there is anything to be worried about here. Just follow up with them in a couple of days if you’re really worried

Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
They usually let you know. The process also varies based on the area you are interviewing for.
