Has anyone given interview at City Storage Systems? its also knowns as CloudKitchens. what was the experience? what kind of interview questions do they ask?
Similar to Intuit, I spent a long time on the take home, did a bang up job if I do say so myself, and was then ghosted by the recruiter. Assigning a massive multithreaded take home is not good form IMO.
They asked me for onsite interview which includes some 3hr assignment on the system. Do y’all know what kind of assignments do they give ?
It was a multithreaded simulation of a typical kitchen they would have, with orders coming in, being picked up, going stale, etc
Also sent you an pm Cornerstone
The problem takes a few hours. I went onsite

ByteDance is officially fucked
tldr gigantic waste of my time. Spent 20 hours working on a take home only to get rejected because it turned out I wasn’t an expert product manager plus visual designer plus software engineer. I am the latter, for the record, but I’m not all of those things. Also, search elsewhere on here: their offers are not competitive.
I got the take home and couldn't muster the energy to even bother. I've only ever been burned by take home stuff for reasons similar to what you mention.
I won’t do take homes anymore. Throw me to the wolves onsite. Fine. At least that takes less of my time.
