Hi all,
I'm new here. I've been trying to get into the IT industry for the last 8 months without much success at Facebook, Spotify, Google and Amazon (I had an interview at Facebook but I was told after passing my first interview all positions were filled for the time being). I have 2 years of experience in marketing insights and user research, one more as a research consultant. I also a Ph.D. in social sciences.
I know that many designers need portfolios to show their work to potential employers, so I was wondering if that's also expected of people for UX research positions. I have never really seen anyone asking for a "Research portfolio", does anyone have one and do you think it makes a difference?
Thank you
