    • 225 no equity at a prop shop is an absolute joke considering the work that is expected of a prop developer. For reference, AWS raised their cap to 350. An L6 with a minimum equity plan is going to be pushing 500k for 75% of the workload. I know L7 EMs that are over a mil from growth over the last four years.

Should also be offering a split on profits rather than bonus on profitability, otherwise the firm ends up making all the money.

Never heard of prop shop paying other things than cash bonus for all their employees

I’ve seen it only for very early stage shop or for exec level at more established shops

They have been scaling trading revenue steadily since inception so the guaranteed bonus is there as a safety net whilst the turnover and profit levels are slightly lower than they expect. Just removes a little pressure on the team and allows more time to design and build the best solutions rather than the quickest.

Bonus they anticipate growing year on year for the forseeable
