Modi is not just a leader but an emotion
Haven't done coding in a while. What prep do you recommend for coding interviews at Google, Facebook, uber etc. Currently L6 SDM at Amazon.
When I was interviewing for an L6 role at Google, I was provided with a coaching call by them to refresh my memory on things. Have you asked what the interview will cover?
What's a "coaching call"? Thanks Also how far can I go with asking what will be included. How can I get more and more details from the recruiter before sounding strange?
A coaching call is a call Google provides candidates to help them refresh on topics related to an upcoming interview. The person who did my call started off by walking through the format, asking if I had questions about that, then giving me a sample coding challenge. Then walking me through the results. My guess is that they recognize that managers may not code daily and be out of practice. As for asking what’s going to be part of a coding challenge, that’s a very direct question you should be able to ask. You can’t be expected to know everything under the sun. If this were me, I would write something like .... Hi (name), Would it be possible to get an overview of the topics that will be covered during my coding challenge so that I may better prepare? Thanks in advance, X Anytime I’ve asked I’ve always been given an answer.
