Coinbase equity for new hires.
I keep hearing that the recruiters didn't know how the equity was calculated, and that the leadership lied about the equity and doesn't honor the equity prices. It's a bit worrisome as I am starting in June. I am getting 75k in RSU, what can I expect? I keep hearing that the "price" isn't honored. What does that mean? Technically there’s no stock price to honor. Your stock price is determined by when you join. You’ll get as many shares as $75K divided by the stock price determined by when you join. The calculation is easy since we’re now a public company. What you’re referring to is when people joined right before the public listing thinking they were gonna get cheaper shares (at a lower price, that is) but were surprised/upset when they weren’t. This does not apply to you as the share price is public.

Instead of 4 years they will be giving stocks each year . Suppose 100k USD per year you are promised to get the same next year if you are a good performer you might get more but 100k is fixed every year
