What do you ask for onsite? It says i should bring my laptop and set my dev environment but I have no idea what to set in my dev environment. What is the question that's asked on site? PS: i don't think revealing the question changes anything because i believe it's not algorithmic anyway. So they'd be seeing how you collaborate and code. I just want to make sure i don't waste time by configuring my machine.

it's been over a year so it may have changed but I had several steps onsite: 1. Whiteboarding how you would architect slack 2. Pair programming connect 4 in language of my choice on my machine 3. 2 culture fit/conversational interviews 4. Brain teaser whiteboard question 5. Small algo coderpad deal I was woefully unprepared and did not get an offer
So only in step 2, you use your computer? What's connect 4?
yeah I was only on my computer during connect 4 and maybe during the algo, I don't remember but it was in coderpad so setup didn't matter Connect 4 is a board game where you take turns dropping pieces in an 8*8 grid and try to get 4 of your pieces in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally
