What do they really expect? I took the test, however haven't heard back yet. What things they see? Has anyone taken it and succeed?
They literally make you do the same leetcode hard questions as lazy companies screen for. They’re not trying to fix the interview process, just reinforcing it.
What was the coinbase triplebyte exercise exactly?
For front end it’s a bunch of JavaScript “gotchas” questions and some css. Basically what does this terrible code output? There was also jquery. Who the fuck uses jquery anymore?
For backend it was a lot of fill in the missing line in the above program. Followed by questions regarding System design and CS fundamentals.
What were the questions for front end?
How's triplebyte working for you? How many companies are you able to get onsite?
It's the first time I took the quiz. Haven't heard back yet. Not a big fan though. I don't know what skills it tests and how it might be relevant to them. It's very unusual and not the best way to screen IMO.
