I have a teammate who has a very loud voice. He has a habit of talking so loudly that half the floor can listen to him when he starts talking. He also talks on phone all the time with his carpenter, bank, customer care of the products he use, his wife, his distant relatives. Unfortunately, his cubicle is just besides mine and I'm not the kind of person who just goes to him and ask him to not to talk too loudly everytime. Although I'm a person who has been practicing martial arts from years and I know I can knock him down even before he'll know. But I also know that this act of mine will get me fired and get me blacklisted which I don't want. Did it ever happen to you? What did you do? EDIT: I do have good headphones but keeping them on all day is not possible for me
You’ve never heard of noise canceling head phones? They were essentially created for two reasons: airplanes and noisy modern offices.
I do have a good set of noise cancelling headphones but keeping them on all day is something that I can do
I say knock him down.
Lol lookout karate master. You sound like an idiot.
Yet another troll
I wish
Yeah? You really think you can go to someone at your workplace and practice your martial arts moves on him for being loud? And your worry is about getting fired and blacklisted? Ever heard of the term ‘battery’?
Sack up and try asking him to keep it down first!!!
Microsoft has private offices, no?
Hasn't been true for a while, man. :-\
Just ask him, then knock him out
You are lucky enough to face just one. I got a few loud talkers on my floor having a big chatting party for a few hours whenever they come to office. God knows why these fucking idiots think of open office as a talk show stage. Their parents really should have taught them some manner.
I have the same problem. Dont have the nuts to tell them to shut up
