Anyone willing to refer to Capital One, Ebay, or Cisco? Rising Junior studying Computer Science. Previous SWE Intern at CDK. Involved heavily outside of the classroom, organized the worlds first hackthon in the Space Needle last year, and have attended 6+ as a participant! Have also done a good amount of LC/CTCI problems. Also currently reading EPI. Can provide more info/background on request! Thank you :)
In all seriousness, why Cisco? I mean, why any of these 3, but in particular why Cisco?

No, really though, why Capital One? It don't fly too good
Not my first choice but I figure that I may as well try and get in their interview loop
Haha I like the pattern going on here. Anyways, I just felt like the companies I’ve listed have a good rep for engineering and overall culture and work experience. C1 because I’ve been looking into fintech and it seems like they’ve been trying to present themselves as a techish company. eBay seems like they have a robust platform to work on same with Cisco
I worked at C1, it’s a bank not a tech company, and definitely not fintech like Stripe, Square, etc
Fair point. My idea of fintech is a little more loose and extends to banks like C1, JPM, etc. But yeah I suppose those aren’t quite like the companies you listed which are much more tech focused than C1, etc
C1 is good for fresh graduates anything between mid-lvl to sr manager are questionable
I don't know if I'd even call it "good"
Capital one is trash. Join FANG
I mean FANG > C1 but doesn’t hurt to cast a wider net right?
In all seriousness, why eBay? I mean, why any of these 3, but in particular why eBay?
Would you be able to refer me please? For an internship :)
