What's your experience commuting from Dublin,CA to SF FiDi? I never commuted on BART in peak hours. Is it that bad or doable? considering it starts from Dublin itself, is it possible to get space to sit? P.S: Considering homes near bart and doesn't have to bother much about parking.
I had the same commute back in 2007 when I lived in San Ramon and commuted to SoMA. Getting to the bart station was easy, but the problem is parking, it was very hard getting a spot to park if you arrived after 8am. There were times where I had to either drive down and park at the San Leandro station or even just giving up and driving directly to SF. Things probably got better after they revamped the parking lot/garage, but there’s also a lot more people now than back in 2007 doing that commute. Getting a spot to sit was easy. You’re pretty much at the end of the Dublin/Pleasanton line so the train is empty when you get on. It starts really filling up when you get near the Oakland coliseum stop
I'm considering new homes behind Bart which are in <1mile range. Assuming walking or SO dropping when in hurry without having to worry about parking, how the Bart commute is?
Dublin to SF is comfortable commute ... You will definitely get seat most of the time as it's the first stop ... But the issue is parking ... But there are public buses for Bart which covers many parts of the Dublin... If you are looking for home to buy in Dublin ... Check community in Dublin Blvd ... 30r covers this area for Bart ...
If you are not worried abt parking ... Getting seat from Dublin is not diificult ... And enjoy the Bart ride with power nap ...
Plane, duh
Concorde works great
Ireland is too far. I’m not comfortable with that.
For your ignorance, there is a suburb called Dublin in California.
I prefer to be ignorant about the boondocks
