I'm joining Microsoft Redmond as a new grad soon. Based on other Blind posts, I'm thinking about staying in #seattle and commuting to work. I'm looking at an apartment very close (2 min walk) to the Bellevue Ave & E Pike St connector stop. I was just wondering if there is map which gives actual route the connectors (not just a map with unordered stops) would take while going to Redmond and back. If the connector picks me up and wanders around other stops in Seattle, then the commute time might be too much. How would rain and snow affect commute times? #seattle
You can either take 545 or the connector bus, which takes you directly to OTC or CTC. It's about 40 minutes commute. It's pretty comfortable as you can read blind, leetcode or do some work on the bus. If it snows, everyone works from home. When it rains, the bus/connector is much faster than driving thanks to the Bus only lane.
