Levels is BS when it comes to compensation. I think it's fine for comparing levels amongst companies but the ms compensation, at least, is way off, especially for higher levels. I'm a a 66, get a little better than average rewards and am at 365. They have the comp at 250 even though all of the entries ive seen are 350+.
To answer the op's question, I'm not sure the current 1.0 compa ratio salary but I'd guess its 200ish. Mine was a little less with a .93 compa ratio when I was promoted to 66. Bonus target is 20%, stock target is 36k. Average perf gives you something like 276k. Top perf (200) would give you something like 362k.
Is it different for different job families?
It is. The marketing/sales orgs are very different. They still have the same levels but the comp structure is different. I dont know much about alternate comp plans (that qrwnt the standard engineering ones).
