Any other companies out there that are trying to stop employees from using Blind?
Intel. You have to quickly take a screenshot of the confirmation email before it gets auto deleted in like 5 seconds.
Your company auto deletes Blind emails? I’d think it would just be easier to block them with the firewall.
Palantir does: https://us.teamblind.com/s/PMwqF2Zq
Why does this not surprise me that Palantir banned Blind?
Not blocked. Maybe this user you reference has a tentative grasp on how to use email or just needs some anonymous app attention.
just use linkedin
Oh, you mean like Qubole? Lol. There are already 14 Qubole employees on here and I have been sharing the app with everyone at work.
How is Qubole?
Blind should have an option to send the emails from randomized source domains. Maybe even disguise them as some sort of newsletter with the code embedded in the email surreptitiously.
No security flaw here at all...
Correct. No security flaw. The email is still sent only to you and still used only to get the code so you can validate your email. It's identical in security profile to the current system but with obfuscated content surrounding the code.
Microsoft too.
Doesn’t Microsoft have the most employees on Blind? I don’t think their plan to block the app is going so well.
He’s lying. Microsoft doesn’t do this unless this is some new genius plan they launched. Blocking people from joining will only lead to more people joining.
I heard SoundCloud was, but I didn’t have a problem creating an account. I think our company has bigger things to worry about rn, like survival haha
You can add Cruise to this list. They are going to start blocking our access via the company WiFi by the end of the week. You’d think after last week, this company would have bigger things to worry about.
Uber did. Not anymore
And the funny thing was they kept denying it😆
What kind of insane management does Uber have?
