Does anyone know of companies not necessarily recruiting for remote but would be open to it if you applied? My job search is typically limited to my metro area which does include some "remote" roles for companies that choose to recruit/post for my area. If I expanded my search to other cities I'm not looking to relocate, are there any known companies worth applying to? I've done a few so far but no responses. Low sample size so can't tell if I just need to try more or I'm auto rejected because of current location. PST if time zone matters.
Yes , I know of a startup, DM me if you need more details , they are looking for strong backend and front end devs around 10 in total . 5+ years of experience .
Facebook potentially - remote rollout is happening but in some locations ( think so many hours from current office in US )
Yeah I thought I heard something about FB but a few weeks ago I responded to a recruiter on slack and he said remote was not allowed for what he was recruiting for. I thought it was odd because he posted on slack of all places without a location so figured remote was implied.
It’s basically very early stage rollout atm :( across different roles . Some areas will offer it some won’t
