Planning to switch jobs and try something new in my own specialized field. Been with this team for 3 years. Learning curve has been quite steep and happy with what I was offered to work on (thanks to new opportunities due to continuous attritions). Considering one of the following.

Please feel free to add comments/suggestions

YOE: 3
TC: ~260k (expected next year)

Thanks. I interviewed with them in past. Their team (the one that I am interested in) is fairly new and even the interview panel had only two experts from my domain. Numbers were definitely good but had to let it go.
Personally, I want to spend some more time working under veterans before trying something independent.

    • Apple....wrong....you are young.....you can learn at Meta .....they will hire veterans also.....its not like you will be the senior person if you join... but being early member of growing team gives you good growth opportunities later.

Not sure what you mean by match 450k. You say tc is 260k… if you have an offer for 450 you should take it. I’d be curious to know who it’s from? Pretty high for 3 yoe

I have 450k worth of unvested AAPL stocks (will be vested over next 4 years). I don’t have any offer right now from any of the companies mentioned in the poll

@Apple - what’re you even talking about?I feel you are creating confusion for yourself unnecessarily. What you’re looking for is someone to give you at least the same base as your current # + at least $112.5k worth of stocks/year. So simply add those two numbers and look for places/offers.

Having said that, with your YOE, I don’t think you have a lot of options that would agree to pay you hefty cash component (>$175k) + $100k+ of equity. Taking some calculated risk with a late stage startup might be an idea worth exploring, but note the “risk” part again.
