Which are the companies which have standard/set process where they can send employees on L1 visas to US. I am specifically looking for L1A, already a Manager. I am looking to interview at these places. I am listing which i know, please suggest more. Obviously looking for places outside US (to goto US later on L1) 1. Amazon, anywhere outside US (afaik they have pretty standard process, spend 1 year, apply internally to any team and move on L1). But do they give L1A to SDM III ? 2. Microsoft Do they give L1A to 64, 65 ? 3. Linkedin 4. Google 5. Other ???? TC : 208K SGD (140 + 23 + 45)
Microsoft used to give L1A to most PMs and engineering managers.. L1As have come under a lot more scrutiny now and hence a lot of PMs I know at least are moving on L1B.. But have not heard the same for engineering managers.. In general, moves are getting slower.. A lot of teams in the US dont hire from idc anymore.. I don't know why.. I know this because I've tried referring ppl from idc over to teams here where I know ppl.. Be prepared for it to take 2 years even.. The minimum 1 year is the rule for L1 visa.. Doesn't guarantee a job here..
It's allowed only after L62 now. In that way it would have got slower. But should not competition have reduced once you are L62 ? That would have made relocation bit easier. But yes still it would have required patience and perseverance.
How difficult it will be for L64/65 ?
Autodesk Are you talking about blanket L1? This is something not many companies have.
I heard folks have relocated to US in Rubrik as well.
You need to work in a managerial position for at least 2 years outside of the USA prior. All the techs and financials with Global insurance being others
