Companies with the worst HR (not recruiting) support for its employees?

Any thing that's even worse than Amazon HR? HR support for benefit issues, time off issues, payroll issues, internal transfers, reimbursements, response times, etc.

What kind of HR do you need from your company? At my two most recent stints it’s all online and I’ve had no issues with it

I can’t get my HR to give me candidates to hire without 5 emails + 10 phone calls + 3 weeks. Maybe I’ll get one candidate who meets at least half of one of the requirements we posted after they throw out the candidates I ask them to sort to me. Fucking terrible, idk even know how to describe this debacle. I wish it were just me, but it’s everyone in tech with me. If you’re in biz, no problem, apparently HR is great here for that.

It’s so stupid as a candidate when an HR recruiter ghosts you have no chance when it was just a matter of a simple team match... feels like recruiters can be good at sourcing but not filtering and sorting

HR is the worst department ever. If there ever was a prize for freeloading $$, HR department would get them.

It’s also the most political
