Comparison between MSFT and FB health benefits?

My wife is Joining FB and I am trying to figure out if it is better for her to opt for FB health insurance or decline that and remain on MSFT as my dependent? Our kid goes to pediatric associate and as per premera he can not have my insurance as primary if she opt out of MSFT insurance.

Why not wait for her joining and then compare? It is not like she needs to decide on the first day.

I can do that but all pros and cons are not very apprent by just reading benefits summary. So getting opinion of folks who have already gone through it is always helpful.

...Wait, what? If she’s covered at FB and you’re covered at MSFT, MSFT won’t cover your dependent as primary? Am I understanding that correctly?

Yes Premera say primary insurance will be of the parent with earlier birthday in the year.
