Compensation Check/Sanity Check
NC-based in Research Triangle Park. 5 YoE as a Full Stack Data Scientist— 105k base, 12% bonus, 400 RSU/yr (~19k)...TC around $135k. Decent or should I be expecting more/looking for more out there?

Data engineer + analytics/visualizations?
^ yeah. experience with the modeling side, but also a pure data engineer / good at scalable design/automates deployment, and can also do front end / custom viz work when needed. Engineering with SQL/Java/Python/Unix, modeling with R/Python (TensorFlow/Keras), viz with Tableau and other like dashboarding, but also great with D3/HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery is what I meant.
Base should be about $120k for that for Cisco in RTP. My buddy just got $130k base, extras look the same.
