I am considering a director role with Prudential in NJ. No direct reports. Asking for base 240k and total compensation 320k. Reasonable? This role is non marketing or sales and imbedded in the technology team. 15 years of experience.

If it’s purely a sales position, I suspect the sales target will determine bonus.
Its a research role... not sales or marketing Part of a technology team...

You won’t get that in insurance for a director level. Maybe a sr director level.
Research in tech? Related to the product?
Would be hard to get that. IT Directors make around 200k TC, give it take 20%.
