I’m a senior PM at a series B tech company looking to get a promotion to director. What’s a reasonable amount to ask for? Should I ask for more stock options?

Cash is king. Options and pre-liquidity Shares are a lottery ticket. At a previous startup everything looked good through B- and C-series, but we then hit some bumps and investors wanted their exit so they agreed to an acquisition that cancelled all common stock. This is not uncommon.

Would it be crazy to get TC to 240k? Mix of cash and options?
At a series b? They'd be irresponsible imo. Even CEOs can barely be making 6 figs at series B.
