Why are Googlers so arrogant?

I have worked in MSFt and Amazon and I have never come across such arrogant dicks in work place. Especially the PMs, they can't take any critical feedback for their products or features. They won't listen to user pain, they are just overpaid and feature focussed. Whereas at Amazon the PMs were always open to debate and hear new ideas. We even had a official thing for that.
Further, this is the first time I have seen PM taking feed back personally and instead of collaboration the culture is who is the most smartest of all. Pathetic! This explains why Google has so many failed products .
PMs have shouted at me when I ask them some probing questions.

Further the people I work with are the least friendly and highly fake. I would say the engineers are the nicest ones as always, but designers and other people are just very fake and aloof.
During my orientation we were told ask questions , we are open and collaborative , blah blah, the culture is exactly opposite. It's non collaborative and resentful.

I have had lireral fights with other Googlers at the company gym where I work out! Take that and I had to remind that asshole that I am his coworker. I have worked out at 24 hour fitness and never had such encounter.
Very disappointed, will probably jump ship in a few months. Is this office specific?

I am in Seattle office and non-American btw.

From my experience true assholes in the corporate world are about 1 in 1000. There are a good deal more people having a shitty day because their kid is sick and or the didn’t get much sleep the night before. Or their partner has cancer or just got diagnosed with it. Or they have money worries. Etc etc etc.

You have to share the gym story.
      Here is mine:
When I was at Google, I had one asshole tell me that I'm resting too long so it's his turn now and started unloading my bar. Calmly told him that he can work in between my reps but he needs to put those weights back. He thought for a second and decided not to push his luck

I would ask more people around you if they feel the same way. I personally have no idea what you're talking about, people here are nicer than any other company I've worked for

Without opining on most of this: the comments on criticism and rejection of it are spot on. So many shitty products have come out of Google that almost everyone inside hated from the start. GPlus is just the most prominent example.
