Recent Fall 2018 compensation adjustment occurred to retain engineering talent (developers and their management). Talent the company wanted to retain received a 10% out-of-band salary bump. Talent that didn’t, well, they were often old Concur prior to the buy-out already making outsized packages relative to SAP pay scales. New TC for Senior SDE is $140k to $180k base pay excluding annual ~10+% bonus, etc. The higher you go, the larger the default base bonus.
