So wanted to see what everyone thought was better for T-Mobile. Merging with Sprint and creating a 4th carrier, or just not merging with Sprint? Here’s some reading that could help you vote: https://www.fiercewireless.com/operators/successful-merger-scenario-worse-for-t-mobile-than-no-sprint-deal-analyst
We want their spectrum, towers, and more. If they go out, we would likely have to pay a lot at auction and still not get all of it.
I watch the news every day and wonder what the people against the merger are smoking. Sprint doesn't survive as a separate concern in any scenario. You either get three big carriers or two.
Is Sprint Mobile a separate company? If not, T-Mobile would stand to acquire their LD network as well. If it hasn’t all been spun off via Embarq -> Centurylink
It’s a done deal . Will be announced by DOJ by Wednesday . Main concern is how will it affect us Sprint employees especially the RF engineers. Only time will tell if T-Mobile keeps us or discards us.
Do you really believe all the BS Marcelo and Legere are pushing about keeping KC as HQ2? If it gets approved, I give it 9 months before the layoffs happen.
Bro you are making me more nervous . Lol . Been in this country for 15 years.. 12 years on H1B and GC(extension). Even now I have to worry if I can keep my job and get my visa stamped next time I go for visa stamping . Smh ! If T-Mobile let’s me go then I will have 1 month ( I think ) to get a new job. And it’s very difficult to get any telecom job in Bay Area on H1B . Anyways I will try to relax!!
Let's pull out and let Dish and Sprint burn to the ground. They are both screwed without T-Mobile. Dish will lose tons of spectrum as they cannot financially deploy it in time even as a license saver program. As for Sprint, many articles and opinions seem to point out that they could declare bankruptcy one day without a merger.
The deal is already done bro. They will declare by Thursday . Hope you guys won’t discard us :).
Why merge when Sprint would likely go out of business in 12-24 months without a merger?
Damn Cerner...still pissed you got laid off or something?
Sprint leadership has literally said publicly that they need the merger to go through because they don’t have a plan to profitability. Read and listen to what your leaders are saying.
