PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
I got an offer for Senior SRE at VMWare Ireland and SRE London at Apple and I'm kinda confused on which. I work at AWS Ireland. Apple has some preference since it's a bit better to work in but VMWare has more pay. Apple TC: 143k GBP (90/148k$/8%) VMWare TC: 180k EUR (100/250k$/17%) Anyone worked there or know which is a better choice? VMWare with that Senior Role is nice but I can always get Senior at Apple with my experience and I feel the opportunity at Apple might give better career progression YoE: 1.5 Post Grad
Go with VMware. Apple wonโt give you senior and your yoe is the reason
They don't know those values On my resume, it follows up as 4 Seems good?
Nope. Max you can get it L4 equivalent
Why is Apple not a poll option? I see only Vmware, Amazon and fries.
Typo. Can't edit it sadly
You're getting wrong poll results then. From what I know, Dublin is NOT considerably cheaper than London, rent is high in Dublin too (you would know). Apple has better stock refreshers (I don't know if Vmware even gives yearly refreshers).
Iโm assuming the cost of living in London is much higher than Ireland too. I think Iโd go with VMware. Unless you specifically want to move and work in London.
