Considering offer at GrubHub NYC
Hi, I'm considering an offer for GrubHub. Details as stated below: Position : SWE 2 Comp: 180K(140k base+ 40k in stocks ). YOE: 3 yrs. Base is good. Stocks is doing good but ofcourse, nowhere near as consistent as FANG stocks.. I have another onsite with Bloomberg NYC in the coming week. Anyone who has an idea about the overall GrubHub engineering culture, career growth, learning opportunities ? #NYC
Is that 40k per year or 160k per year? If 40k per year you should think of the Comp as 180k. Bloomberg can probably beat that.
It's 40k a year so yeah, 180k yearly total !! I'm assuming there is a fixed bonus part for Bloomberg to get to that number.?
Lol yeah that makes more sense. Grubhub does not pay like FANG. My Bloomberg base was 180 with 30 bonus. Bloomberg is great if you’re not doing web development
