Consulting to Software Development

I am in EY doing Tech Consulting and now frustrated with shit projects, any suggestions on how I can switch to tech (software engineering), good with starting at entry level. background - CS + MS in MIS. 1 yr 3 months with EY 2 internships as data scientist. I want to be a product manager but seems like it’s almost impossible to break into it with my background and without an MBA. I can’t spend 150k now. Is it possible to make that switch happen and what can I do to make it happen? fyi- would ideally want a tier 1 or 2 firm, going into mid level company as a developer isn’t helping my TC Current TC - 85k
