I bought quite some UBER stocks about 5 weeks ago at $45 (about 7000 shares). In the last few days I have changed my mind about Uber and no longer want these shares. This is mainly due to the ethical concerns I have about Uber’s business model. Is there a way I can return the shares I have and get a refund? There should be some consumer protection laws around this, right? Please let me know how I can proceed.
😐
My comment isn’t helpful. Yet - why wouldn’t you look up the business model before investing?
Yes. It’s called selling them.
So you dropped $399,000 on a single transaction? I probably won't even save that much in my lifetime. You could have done better just loaning it to me at 1% APR.
Next you will want refund at a slot machine, won’t you? You are one of those people.
What if I had the receipt?
I don’t have the receipt but you can see the buy order in the broker’s monthly statements
If you paid with your credit card then you might be covered
Investing is risky. When you purchase stocks you assume the risk of losing money. There is no "I change my mind and want my money back" with stocks. Sell your shares and move on
Sorry but that sounds like buy high & sell low
Some serious stupid
You mean troll
Hehe...had the Uber share prices been up now to $70, will you still opt for this return ? Just wash your face and come out of the dream.

Uber at $57? Uber stock never went beyond $45
I made a mistake when submitting a limit order
Now why did you change your post to $45? Clearly you must be making this up
