Hello
After a family member passed away, I started having morbid thoughts, motivation and performance issues. I was interviewing at the time so I signed with an employer but started having anxiety and doubts about my performance and thought I will get pipped during probation. I don't know how fmla and loa etc work when you are new so I did the shameful renege.
I am working with my therapist and we are targetting recovery by summer and I plan to hit the job market. Should I reach out to this reneged company? I might be on nohire list.
I can share employer name but idk if that will help...

If you push too hard youβll add to your trauma and work will only be associated with the trauma you experienced.
Hope you recover swiftly!
Family member passing has been a while but some problems I am having are lingering so I was worried about performance when I would be new.
Right now youβre hard on yourself given what youβve experienced. Just do your best and focus on the goal, donβt worry about performance issues unless someone does actually say you need to improve.
