Got a competitive offer for my line of work, I accepted it. I like the money but not fully sold on the position. Places I applied to a few months back are getting back for interviews now, they have similar TC but I like the work more. Should I stick it out at the new place for a year and apply again or continue interviewing and renege if I get something better ? Which would be a worse in terms of burning a bridge ? Should I let the places I am interviewing at know that I have an offer ? Or just wait till final interview round is over to reveal my cards ? H1b 👾 Current TC : 110K New TC : 180K Location : MCOL YOE : 4
Renege if you get something better. Not all bridges matter
Also want to thank blind for motivating me to seek out TC. Nothing like you juggernauts here but this is pretty darn hard to get in my niche area of work.
Should I stick it out at the new place for a year and apply again or continue interviewing and renege if I get something better ? Continue and renege. It's ok. Which would be a worse in terms of burning a bridge ? Joining and leaving. More wasted energy for both parties. Should I let the places I am interviewing at know that I have an offer ? Sure.
WTF is that username
Arrested Development, surprised no one took this yet.
Nice username btw.
If you don't want to join the company anyway, why worry about burning the bridge?
Wait till final round
