Currently interviewing with a few companies. Right now, expecting offers from two companies. One is an 18-month contract with Microsoft (used to work there, so I at least have background) in Azure and the other is a FT position with a 30-year old company moving their products to SaaS. The latter has had a lot of changes (including a new CEO), which doesn’t bother me, but is still a concern. Hourly rate for contract is $60/hour. For the full-time job, per recruiter, the yearly salary is at least $140K (not including sign-on or stock, which won’t be discussed until salary negotiations are further along).
What's the latter company with FTE?
Risk Management Solutions
Contract jobs generally suck and in this case it looks like it even pays less than the FT job. So, why take it?
Depends if he wants more flexibility of working days / hours?
