Anyone agrees the core skills in tech industry are actually interview skills, rather than actual programming skills in your daily job?

Regardless how you’re excelled at one programming language or a framework, if you suck at algorithm & data structure interview questions, you’ll never get the offer or TC you want.

Better spending practicing leetcode more than learn some real stuff in daily work?

  • TC has no bearing on how well you did on coding questions. TC completely depends on the level of your offer.

    Algo and data is only about 20-30% of an interview. 1-2 out of 4-5 interviewers. It’s a bar you have to clear but not everything there is to it.
