I have been a Corporate Finance manager for 10 years and I am looking to move out to either Banking Financial Analyst or Investment side. I am in the middle of my MS Finance. Should I get the CFA started before I look for a new position? Is it needed to get in the door? I am having a tough time getting interviews.
Investment as in I banking? You don’t need a CFA to get in but will need once once you pivot out of investment banking into wealth management or financial advising
What this person said. Which is it? Investment banking or investment management?
Sorry, I am looking into an Analyst position, either at a commercial bank, an insurance company, or a mutual fund. Is the CFA a basic requirement for an interview or can I get in and work on that after my MS degree is finished.
