Do they have matching rate? Did they offer signon bonus? Stock option offer, what is the vesting distribution rate and schedule? Don't do it for a lateral move.
Don't trust Coupang's offer letter or agreements. They can resend your package for any reason. I know few folks who moved from US to Korea on 2 Year agreement, but in the mid way Coupang did not honor the agreement and started treating as local employee with local pay and benefits.
Were those who this happened too also of Korean descent even though they were American? I’m wondering if they played games with Korean immigration laws on heritage.
