Outdated technologies and very relaxed atmosphere. Hence I left few years back

Sure
I think it is prudent for tech candidates to review the fundamentals of the financial firms they’re looking to join. Particularly vis a vis it’s competitors. It’s also prudent for financial folks to review the stacks & strategies of the tech firms they join. Then decide of you think this is the right firm at the right time.
Thanks, great insights. what do you think are the greatest strengths of the company and the technology division. How are the people in technology division and how is the fintech department?
Individual divisions are incredibly entrepreneurial. I suppose any large bank wrestles with the intense regulatory framework however CS is suffering right now. It has a long road ahead to delivering for shareholders and employees and I’m not certain they’ve demonstrated a clear path to those goals.
Culture of the company is good but in terms technology and career growth don't expect anything at all. The whole process of Development is pretty outdated in my org Some of them do provide challenging and cutting edge work but those are exceptions
Not a great place to build career. Comp isn't great either, bonuses are joke so don't fall for any range they provide. Outdated tech and so are the people and management. They are hiring due to huge attrition but they are incapable of retaining people.
Still working in tech at CS. It's been a good ride, but some obvious weaknesses that have been pointed out already. Feel free to DM if any queries.
Technology teams are fun to work with, work hard if you want to else you can coast if you wish to. Interviews are joke ( and so are salaries ) :), don't expect anything difficult. I am not with CS anymore though, hence not sure about any recent changes.
