Hello Blind community, What is the hiring process at @cruise automation for a non-tech role? how long do they take to reply to application and overall process time? I am interviewing at two other companies in the bay and although i have preferences would like to align them in same timeline, if passed initial screening.
Cruise was super prompt on scheduling interviews, giving offers, negotiating, etc. Honestly, it was one of the nicest and most expedient recruiting experiences I've ever had.
So you don't work at waymo now? What was the motivation to move?
I do work at Waymo. I applied to Cruise and Waymo at the same time. The candidate experience at Cruise was top notch and the candidate experience at Waymo was terrible. Cruise also offered more comp. But in the end I chose Waymo.

it varies a lot afaik, but for full time roles expect reply within 1 week. then all the interviews within 1-2 weeks. After interview max 1 week to offer. Altogether relatively fast if things go smoothly. if anything I would suggest you to reach out now and have recruiter screen. You can always delay the process further after recruiter screen, in some cases months.
Thanks Yd55!
